What if your healing wasn’t just about you?

The Story That Brought Me Here

What if it was a portal—a bridge between the ancestors who dreamed you into existence and the future you’re shaping right now?

My journey started with those questions, and it led me to build something bigger than myself. A movement. A reclamation. A vision. Keep reading to see how it all began—and how we can build the future together.

From Seeking to Becoming

My work didn’t begin as a business—it started as a calling. A calling to understand, to heal, and to reclaim. Like many of us, I was raised in the tension between deep cultural heritage and the realities of displacement, between inherited wisdom and the gaps left by history. My personal journey of ancestral healing was never just about the past; it was about how we hold ourselves in the present and shape the future.

As I navigated my own path—through personal loss, systemic obstacles, and the weight of being “the strong one” in many spaces—I realized something: healing isn’t just about survival. It’s about vision. It’s about crafting futures that honor where we’ve been without being bound by it. That’s when I stepped into my role as a Visionary Muse and Global Luminary.

Through Sister Circle Collective, Who Heals the Healer, the Reparations Wellness Clinics, and now primarily Ancestors in Training™, I create spaces for others to do this work collectively. Whether through conferences, poetry workshops, or intimate healing circles, I saw firsthand how storytelling, ritual, and community care could transform not just individuals but entire lineages.

Building Bridges, Honoring Legacies, Creating Futures

Yet, with each expansion came new challenges - funding hurdles, institutional resistance, the emotional labor of holding space while navigating my own healing. The path wasn’t linear, but it was revealing: I saw that there was no blueprint for this work. So I built my own.

Now, my brand stands as an invitation - to seekers, writers, changemakers, and visionaries who know they are meant to do something more but need a bridge between where they are and where they’re called to be. I meet people at the intersection of ancestral wisdom, creative expression, and personal liberation, helping them transform their own narratives while honoring the legacies they carry.

This isn’t just a business; it’s a movement. A reclamation. A vision of what’s possible when we honor our past, stand firm in our present and create boldly for those who come next.

Are you ready to step into your own visionary path?

Remembering as Resistance, Healing as Transformation

This work is deeply personal because I’ve seen firsthand how disconnection - from our ancestors, our stories, and even ourselves - can limit our ability to heal and thrive. I believe that remembering is a form of resistance, and through this work, I’m committed to creating spaces where we can honor our legacies, reclaim our power, and shape a future rooted in liberation and joy. For me, this isn’t just about history - it’s about transformation, for ourselves and the generations to come.

For a long time, I moved through the world carrying the weight of survival—mine, my ancestors’, and my community’s. I navigated the challenges of being a Black woman doing visionary work in spaces that often felt unwelcoming or under-resourced. I wrestled with burnout, scarcity, and the deep grief of witnessing harm while trying to build something rooted in healing. I knew what it felt like to give and give, wondering if there would ever be space for my own restoration.

But through that, I found something powerful: the ability to rewrite the narrative. I shifted from overextending to honoring my boundaries, from seeking permission to owning my voice, from surviving to thriving. I leaned into the wisdom of my ancestors and the gifts they left me, using them as fuel to shape my own path. Now, I stand fully in my purpose, guiding others toward their own healing, liberation, and creative expression. My journey has taught me that transformation isn’t just possible - it’s inevitable when we choose ourselves and our legacies.

Mornings start slow. I tend to my altars, check out my plant kids, and whisper gratitude—because my work isn’t just mine; it’s a continuation of something much older. Then, I sit with my journal. Some days, the words come effortlessly. I wrestle with them other days, but I’ve learned that even resistance is part of the process.

Midday, I step away from the page and toggle tags in my day-to-day roles, and when the tabs are too much - I get active. Movement is its own kind of creation, even if it's just around the house and changing my perch. (Some of my best ideas come when I’m not forcing them.)

By evening, I’m deep in the work—writing, building, and creating. Sometimes, I’m holding space for others, guiding them through their own storytelling and remembering. Other times, I’m simply letting my own ideas take shape. That 3am witching hour finds me and my ancestors collaborating on the next offering.

What I know for sure is that creation isn’t just about output. It’s about rhythm. It’s about honoring what wants to come through. It’s about trusting that, in every pause, every pivot, and every return, something is waiting to be discovered.

How do you honor your rhythms?

Guided by Ancestral Wisdom, Rooted in Liberation

MY CORE VALUES

Ancestral Healing:

In my work with Ancestors in Training, I’m deeply committed to honoring and learning from our ancestors as a way to heal ourselves and pass on wisdom to future generations. By guiding others to tap into this ancestral wisdom, I help people reconnect with the strength and resilience that has been passed down to them. This healing not only nurtures individual growth but also creates a sense of pride and continuity, empowering my audience to transform inherited traumas and build a more vibrant future.

Community Empowerment:

My experience in community organizing and through partnerships with organizations and collectives reflect my commitment to creating spaces where people can come together, learn from one another, and heal collectively. By cultivating these shared spaces, I’m able to empower others to take charge of their own healing and personal growth while fostering a collective sense of responsibility for each other’s well-being. This, in turn, strengthens the community and creates a foundation for mutual support and liberation.

Connection:

A core value for me is deepening meaningful connections—whether it’s with my ancestors, my community, or the people I work with. I create spaces where individuals can reconnect with their lineage, build a sense of belonging, and nurture collective growth. When people feel truly connected to their roots and to others, it sparks a sense of purpose and belonging that fuels their personal and collective evolution. For anyone who circles or works with me, this means feeling seen, heard, and supported, which helps them step into their power and live more authentically.

  • "Veronica has a genuine gift at cultivating a sense of community among groups of people that are just gathering for the first time - especially virtually, which is no small feat. I've had the honor of attending an Ancestors in Training workshop and watching as Veronica inspired attendees across generations, geographies, and identities to share what care looks like in their cultures, and thread these stories together into a collective narrative embracing sameness, difference, and everything in between."
